In traditional Anatolian Folk Culture, women’s head decorations “tepelik” are seen in ethnographic museums today and are not used in daily life.
“Çarpana Weavings” and “Oya-Tentene” are historical elements of women’s hair decoration.
Promoting Historical Handicrafts in Turkey and Contributing to Their Cultural Sustainability through exhibition works is at the forefront.
Waste Cable Wires and Plastic-Metal Jar Lids were Used.
It was designed for cultural sustainability with “Çarpana-Tentene Lace”, based on the idea of Head Ornament, which is a part of Traditional Turkish Women’s Clothing.
In this respect, the exhibition works consist of sustainable jewelry design works.
