Silent of Blue exhibition brings together the profound meanings of silence and the rich textures of nature with the captivating depth of blue tones. It is the result of a creative journey inspired by the silent wisdom of nature and an exploration of blue’s infinite meanings. Blue symbolizes the vastness of the sky and sea, peace, infinity, and an inner journey toward the unknown. The artworks, created using the cyanotype technique, blend the delicate lines of botanical forms with the tranquil yet compelling presence of nature.
These forms reflect the silent wisdom of nature while presenting themes such as peace, balance, and infinity at the intersection of art and nature. This exhibition invites viewers to reconnect with their bond to nature, discovering personal stories within its silent blues. It creates a harmonious dialogue where nature’s calmness and blue’s infinity whisper to one another, offering a space for reflection and serenity.

About Buse Kızılırmak

Buse Kızılırmak was born in 1992 in Ankara, Turkey, where she completed her primary, secondary, and high school education. In 2010, she began her undergraduate studies at Gazi University, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Painting Education Program, graduating in 2014. That same year, she enrolled in a Master’s program at Gazi University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Fine Arts Education, Painting Education Program, which she successfully completed in 2017. She subsequently pursued a Doctorate at Marmara University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Fine Arts Education, Painting Education Program, earning her degree in 2022.

In 2017, she started working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Painting Education at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University’s Faculty of Education, a role she held until 2023. In 2023, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the same department, where she continues to work today.
She held her first solo printmaking exhibition, Beşinci Mevsim, in 2017 in Ankara; her second solo exhibition, Sessiz Söylemler, in 2024, also in Ankara; and her third solo exhibition, Saye, in 2024 in Nevşehir.

In addition to her academic endeavors, she has participated in numerous group and project-based exhibitions both nationally and internationally. She continues her artistic practice in her printmaking studio in Niğde.
