Sustainable Contemporary Jewelry Brooch Designs 3
In this exhibition, 29 brooch designs were made to commemorate the anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey, October 29.
In these designs, glued dough, waste starched fabrics, waste leather pieces were used and brooches imitating nature were designed.
There is a hand figure in each design and it is especially white in color.
The phrase «Ak hands of my mother» is widely used in Turkish. Behind the main purpose of the exhibition, a sub-purpose supporting sustainable natural life was determined to try to imitate the hands of mother nature and to express admiration for nature.
